I love them, Vic! Especially 'yung statue ni St. Ignatius, tsaka itong pic ng Xavier Hall na may malaking puno, tsaka night shot 009 (which i think is the best among the Gesu pics).
Hindi Xavier Hall 'yan. It's a part of Faura, Dela Costa and SocSci. I intentionally excluded the shabby construction site on the right. Actually, I am most satisfied with that and the Ignatius photos. They're the only two photos which didn't have a black barren sky. There is a light refraction of some sort which turned out reddish in the photos.
O, diba! Not bad! I actually nailed the photos which you were most satisfied with! :)
Unga, noh. Faura nga pala. Hehehe. Sorry! I love the glow around the tree. And about the Ignatius pic, I love how there's a slight philosophical eclaveur, pero achieved not through some fancy chenez, but simply through natural light. Parang it's naturally contemplative by itself. Lovvvit!!!
now this is what i call, a simbang gabi pic! hahaha! grabehhhhhhhhhh!! ang ganda nito!!! submit it sa theguidon vic! it's so nice!! promise!!! i love it and i think they will too =)

@mike: new phrase I learned--> philosophical eclaveur. Very french...very philosophe. hehe. I like the 2 pictures also because of the contrast of the green cast on the subject and the reddish sky.
@eli: hmm, naasar kasi ako sa "theguidon" dahil sa pahirap na application for the photo staff. But, jas por yu, I'll submit ng pic.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!!!!!!!!!! my god ang ganda ganda ganda nila! i've never seen ateneo captured this way!!!!! i love it. i've been trying to take a picture of the bellarmine field (and all beautifully lit areas of the campus) with my measly digcam and i've got to say i never thought ateneo could look this good.
asteeg!!! ang galing!!!! :) i tried to take a picture of the trees sa bel field at night dahil sobrang ganda pero pangit lumabas sa picture.. sabi ko pa nde kaya macapture yun beauty sa picture.. i was wrong!!! ang ganda!!!! champion ka vic!!!!
@chin and eileen: Actually, kaya niyo itong gawin. Just set your aperture to about f/16-f/22, shutterspeed to 20-30 secs, mount your camera on a sturdy tripod and start clicking. Just be sure no wind nor any vibration-causing medium shakes your camera or you would have "nyarp" (opposite of sharp, haha) photos.

No eileen, di kailangan ng maangas na camera, as long as may manual controls, dslr or point and shoot. It doesn't matter! :) Pwede rin siguro ang night mode ng cellphone, huwag ka lang gagalaw. :D
